Texas shooting leaves married couple dead, two children hospitalized for gunshot wounds

Authorities are investigating a possible murder-suicide that left a married Texas couple dead and their two children suffering gunshot wounds early Monday morning. The couple's brave 15-year-old daughter managed to escape the Fort Bend home and call 911 around 6 a.m., alerting deputies to her 11-year-old brother who was left seriously injured inside, according to the sheriff's office. Tragically, deputies also reported finding the bodies of the children's parents inside the home. The parents were identified as Karim Kamdar, 46, and his wife, Nikhat Kamdar, 37, and are suspected victims of a domestic dispute. Both of the children were flown via Life Flight to Memorial-Hermann Hospital and underwent surgery for their injuries.
